Well, it’s going to be a busy week for us this week. We’re playing a last minute show at The Fine Line tonight at 10:30. The booker asked us on Friday if we could help him out and fill an opening. Tomorrow is the November installment of our monthly Fat Tuesday at Lee’s Liquor Lounge. And Saturday we’re playing at The 400 Bar for Union Shakedown’s CD Release Show. If you’re coming on Saturday, you’ll want to buy a ticket from one of us beforehand. Tickets are $8 at the door and $5 online, but you can get one from any of us for only $4. We’ll be bringing our A game for that one and I’m sure Union Shakedown and Hip Replacement will be too, so come on out. After that, we’ve got one more show the following Sunday at Turf Club in St. Paul before we go on a bit of a short hiatus to do some writing and polishing up of our stage show in preparation for our EP release in late January or early February. For more details on these shows check out our website or Facebook page.
Next week we’ll begin final mixing for the EP. All the tracking is completed and we’re looking to have the whole thing wrapped up by the end of the month. It’s a lot later than we had hoped but studio time wasn’t as available as we would have liked and we made a few changes to our creative strategy along the way. And we believe in getting it done right rather than getting it done fast.
Well that’s enough for now. Hope to see you at one of this week’s shows!
