For five years we’ve hosted an annual Howlin’ Wolf tribute beginning with his 100th birthday. We felt that Muddy Waters’ and Willie Dixon’ 100th birthdays falling in 2015 made for a great time to celebrate other titans from the Chess Records family. So Happy birthday Muddy and Willie! Come on out to Lee’s Liquor Lounge on Friday, June 12th and see local blues and rock & roll artists perform songs from the Chess catalogs and maybe a few tunes from other Chess stars!
